Locations
Your house or apartment? A local school or science museum? Some cool outdoor spot?
How about a band?
Know a good local band? Maybe they'd be interested in doing a benefit concert? (We'll feature music from any band that raises money at a party on our MySpace page music player. Got some video of the event? post it.)
Publicity
Parties and concerts are a great way to get coverage in local media -- reach out to local papers, radio, and TV stations. (Before and after the event).
Also, If you're planning or if you've been to any great parties or concerts, post here -- if the event is upcoming, just post an announcement and we'll put it into the GR site news page; andif the event is recently past, tell us how it went, and post some video (post the video to youtube and the link here, it's easy).
