Hi all,
I don't seem to be able to communicate with WCG. I have points showing on GR but none on WCG, also I don't seem to have a computer registered with either GR or WCG ? A friend installed it all, who has been using BOINC for years and he is stumped. What has he done wrong or missed ? I have been with you for a month and have made 2113.16 points.
When I ask GR to tell WCG to show my computer I get the message:
"We have encountered an error communicating with your project. Your changes have not been applied. Projects do become unavailable from time to time. You can try again via the button below, and/or return to make your changes later."
My email and password are the same on both.
Appreciate any help.

Found the problem which was 'Name' not same, I had 2 profiles on WCG. One empty and one with work done. We used my real name when we installed GR and not a 'user name'
So now I have found my WCG profile with points and a computer, but can't seem to delete the useless one. Nevermind I think they like to keep them and it makes the stats look better.
My WCG now shows 14,791 total points but GR shows 2,113 ?? Is your points system the same as WCG's ??
I still get the can't communicate with WCG and get the error message but I'm not so bothered about that as it was to ask for newsletter and show commputer.

Roy, I think the accounts still might not be straight. I looked up the account you have registered through GridRepublic and used that information to query the World Community Grid server. For total credit, it's saying you have 3209.57 right now. For what it's worth, it also says your account at WCG was created Fri, 26 Jun 2009 16:40:47 GMT, which is right after your GR account was created.
So it looks like GridRepublic still might be attached to the wrong WCG account, which is why the stats are reporting a lower number of credits.
