I've been running GR for a while now. I don't have it setup to have screen saver or anything like that.
Recently (not sure when it started) when I RDP into my server, there are about 4-5 mirosetta windows sitting there with graphics, etc. Which makes RDP slightly unhappy. I close them, and they come right back.
If I kill GR, they go away.
This has never happened in the past. Normally GR sits in the tray and happily chews on the data. However these extra windows are annoying and not needed.
However I can't seem to find a setting that may have gotten flipped on to show the windows. Although this server rarely get's changes to it.
Please see the attached screenshot.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Sorry for delay in a reply.
These popups were due to a bug that slipped through the Rosetta@home project processes. New processes have been put in place by their project to hopefully prevent this happening in the future.
These should clear out normally or can be manually aborted if they appear. Not the ideal situation, but GridRepublic does not run the individual projects.
