Questions about weak account key, weak authenticator, and passwords

I see on the BOINC wiki that there are two ways to add computers to a BOINC account without using a BOINC password, weak account keys and weak authenticators. Does gridrepublic support, or plan to support, either of them?

Also, the BOINC account managers page describes account managers updating project passwords. Changing my gridrepublic password does not seem to update my project passwords. Does gridrepublic plan to support this?

The BOINC documentation did not clarify all of the account related terms for me. Are account manager accounts associated with account keys, or are account keys only associated with project accounts? Do account keys ever change(what if one was stolen)? How are weak account keys and weak authenticators different?

We do not currently use weak account keys or weak authenticators.  (If you have a need to add large numbers of public machines to your account, please contact us here.)

If you edit your password via GR (if you are logged in: on the home page, under the "my account" tab), the change should propagate to all your projects.  If this is not working for you, please post back to this thread.

As for your misc other questions -- If you tell me what you are trying to do, I can perhaps answer you more clearly…?
