LHC@home wrong URL

I am seeing a problem is LHC@Home. "You used the wrong URL for this project" and "The correct URL is http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/"

I have this same problem AND Grid Republic will NOT let me delete/add/edit Projects.

John, adding/editing projects should (of course) work. (I did so recently.) Can you post more info -- for instance, did you get any errors? What did you do and what happenned?

I could not see a LOGOUT button.

So, I deleted cookies for GridRepublic.org - then signed in and now it works.

Maybe you need a "Force" logout option.

Well, the logout button kind of is a "force logout" link. We're currently working on a substantial overhaul of the GR software; this should make the issue you encountered, which is rare, even more so.

Meanwhile, glad you found the fix, and sorry for any inconvenience.

The problem (LHC@Home: "You used the wrong URL ...") is still not solved. correct URL is http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/, while project list has http://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/. Is there any solution?

Yes. We still haven't updated the site DB. (This is more than just putting in a new address for the old one; sorry.)

In the good news department, we've just substantially updated our facebook app, Progress Thru Processors. And also recently launched Charity Engine. Plus work is in progress one one other really exciting project....

Still in the works is a general overhaul of the system here at GR, and we'll update all the outdated links as part of that. Prob will take well into January, though...
