Remove an old, unused or non-functioning computer
The Manager(s) at Grid Republic need to address a very basic and often mentioned problem. How to remove a computer you no longer wish to have on your computer list, for whatever reason. PLEASE CREATE A "DELETE COMPUTER" FUNCTION. PLEASE?
Removing Inactive Computers
While waiting for you to implement a merge or delete function, it would be helpful if the project list included URL's for the project website. Currently, this info is displayed only on the "Add" list. Once the project has been added, the URL is no longer visible. Not only do I now have to go to a dozen websites to merge computers, but I also have to Google each project. Ridiculously and needlessly complicated!
Update: I went to five project websites. Each one either had no merge function, or would allow only merging of computers with the same name. There is no way to delete an inactive computer with a different name.
This is ridiculous. There is absolutely no reason that all of you computer-oriented people can't come up with a univerally agreed-upon interface that incorporates these simple functions.
Hosts of a removed project still show up
I had some hosts dedicated to just one project (WCG); now I removed the entire project from GR but they still show up.
Note that in WCG you can't delete or merge old hosts.
Merging Computers
Doesn't seem to work with the computers are 'different'. I have a computer that has long ago bitten the dust. So figured mrege it's stats in with the current one. But the CPUs are different so it won't let me.
Just an FYI that merge appears from the message it gave me to be only for same computer types.
