Hi, all!

Digital points updates with logout/login and also with refresh button, but the chart is the same always ( http://www.gridrepublic.org/get_chartimage.php?t=uh&id=7a140b9ffa6d46e1880446d41f3d1d79&s=gr&flush )... No matter which browser I'm using (Opera and IE8 beta2 was tried).

if i understand you correctly, what you are seeing is at present the intended behavior:  stats are only updated upon login or upon manual use of the "refresh" button.  are you seeing a problem other than that?

we'll revise this at some point, to add an auto-refresh; or we'll shorten sessions.

(by way of background: we used to have shorter sessions, we extended them with the idea of making the "community" section more user-friendly.  but since auto-update of stats only happens when users start a new session, the trade-off has been that users who do not manually log out need to manually "refresh" to get updated stats...  anyhow, we'll update to make this better...)

In any event:  please note that when you login or manually refresh, your numerical stats will be up-to-date at that moment, but your chart is only updated once per 24 hours.

Sorry for my bad English Sad

Digital "points" (under chart) works very well - they are updating after every refresh and are equal to my current progress in projects.

But CHART does not updating - since the time of my registration at GridRepublic the picture is the SAME (was not changed)... I tried logout and login after several days - no change in this chart picture.

ok, it looks like your chart is actually working -- here is what is happenning, i think:

you'll see there is a huge spike downwards and upwards, currently about 18 days ago.  the scale of this spike is so large that it is making the daily activity seem very very small in comparison.

i need to investigate if the spike is due to our accounting (ie, some error and correction), or if it is actual data reported from project servers.  (sometimes projects post adjustments to credited stats for various reasons.  these are often large in scale and have the unfortunate result of messing up charts.  we don't change the stats reported from projects, however, because these are "official" results.)

to help sort things out, can you tell me, please, what projects you participate in?

Thanks for such quick response!

Of course, You got the point. "Spikes" - this word I forgot about. and can't describe  my problem clearly Sad

OK, below is written some info what might be helpful.

 I joined GripRepublic at 19 January 2009.

I'm participating at two BOINC projects - SETI@Home (main) and SETI@Home Beta.

According to BOINCStats site, at 2009.01.19 I had 81112 credits for main and 1069 for beta.

AT present day I had 117902 at main and 19281 at beta.

Hello, Matt!

Chart has been drawn correctly since my latest post until today.

Today I can see again chart as (from left, -60 days to right, today): zero line, thin negative spike near -20 days, thin positive spike, zero line again...

great.  sorry you've been having trouble with this, but glad it is working again.  (the issue is not 100% solved on our end, so it is possible it will recur.  please let me know if it does.)

Hi,

Hope you can help. Grid Republic has not updated my stats for several weeks now. For example, it shows my seti@home credit at just over 37000, when it is actually nearly 90000. None of my other projects are updating either. Any suggestions as to why?

Thanks,

John

have you tried the "refresh" button recently (or logged out and then logged in again?)

The "refresh" button on your account home page should do it. If it still doesn't work or you already tried that, it's possible that an extended login session could get a blip in it so a quick logout and login should correct that.
